MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Lottery players will have a chance to win one of three guitars from C.F. Martin & Co.'s® Performing Artist Series when they mail in $10 of non-winning Win For Life instant tickets, starting tomorrow.

"We are proud of our partnership with Martin Guitar, a Pennsylvania-based company that handcrafts instruments used by some of the most famous musicians in the world," said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees.

"Martin Guitar is honored to participate in this promotion, and we are looking forward to awarding our guitar products to three lucky recipients," said Martin Guitar Director of Information Systems Cynthia McAllister.

The top prizes for the promotional drawing will be three Martin Performing Artist Series GPCPA1 guitars, valued at $3,999 each. In addition, each winner will receive a special VIP tour of Martin's facility in Nazareth, Northampton County.

The promotional drawing opens on Sept. 1, and entries must be received by Oct. 7. Players must send in exactly $10 worth of non-winning tickets from the Lottery's family of Win For Life games, which include $250,000 A Year For Life ($10), $10,000 A Month For Life ($5), $1,000 A Week For Life ($2) and $50 A Day For Life ($1). Players must sign and fill out the back of their tickets, place each entry of $10 in tickets in a separate envelope no larger than 4 1/8 inches by 9 1/2 inches, and mail entries to the following address:

The odds of winning a prize in the drawing depend on the number of entries received. Players may enter as many times as they want but can win only once. Martin will contact winners to arrange the special VIP tour and delivery of prizes.

The Pennsylvania Lottery and C.F. Martin & Co. began their partnership in May when a new commercial debuted featuring Gus, the second-most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania, as the guitarist in a rock band. The ad, which introduced the Lottery's new family of Win For Life games, showed Gus playing a sized-down version of the GPCPA1.
