"I have no doubt that their contributions to our Board will help public broadcasting fulfill its mission and promise, and we look forward to working with them on behalf of all public broadcasting stakeholders."

"On behalf of their board colleagues, I congratulate Senator Pryor and Chris Boskin and thank them for their service to the American people," said CPB Board Chair Cheryl Halpern. During his time in the Senate, Pryor served as Chairman of the Committee on Aging and as Secretary of the Democratic Conference. In 2000, Pryor became Director of the Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Most recently, he has served as Dean of the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Chris Boskin is a highly respected veteran of magazine publishing, with a career that has included publishing and marketing positions with Worth Media, the New Yorker Magazine, Hearst Corporation and East West Network.
